"I know it has been a while, but just wanted to say thanks for being there!  We bought a small fleet of RingerCams in April of 2016 and really haven't had the need to reach out to Joe and his team for anything since.  We decided to add a couple more this past fall and during that discussion Joe learned that two of his cams from our original purchase weren't operating as expected.  At his insistence we sent them along and when our new fleet of 5 P32 cameras arrived, he returned the two 2s600 as well working perfectly.  Whatever he did, he didn't charge us for it and to be honest we weren't even thinking to ask.  The cams were more than 2 years old and we had thought perhaps had run their life-course as we rarely had a commercial camera last that long.  Just a small shout-out to Joe and his team, the cams are amazing and the customer service even better.  Yes, you're not going to get a RingerCam for $150 (unless one his refurbished models - be sure to ask him), but we're confident we would have spent much more on commercial cameras over the lifetime of the fleet (now at 13).  We also ordered two more of his custom slate calls as we plan to auction them at our meeting in March, with proceeds going to the 4-Diamands Pediatric Cancer Fund.  When he learned that, he sent both calls to us for free...a slate over glass Cocobolo pot with Tupliwood Striker and an aluminum over slate Osage pot with a Tupliwood striker.  Joe is a great guy to deal with, very personal approach where quality is more important than a bottom-line.  Don't find too many like him these days.
Zachary Grandeur - OH - 1/17/19

"Thanks Joe, the new cameras are awesome and we are getting some great shots right in our back yard.  It opened a whole new worlf of bird watching for my wife and I."
Steve Ashton - PA - 1/2/19

"I wanted to thank you for taking the time to work to develop something that met my personal needs.  The remote trigger is exactly what I needed to help catch the idiots vandalizing our property.  I was able to set the remote trigger at the end of my driveway and your rock design is flawless, sometimes I even have a hard time picking it out.  As soon as someone enters the driveway both video cameras turn on and with the adjustments available and the mobulity of the units,  I have been able to get the footage I needed.  Thank you for time and dedication to both your craft and your customers."
Dr. Jeff Stevenson - MD - 12/18/18

"Joe thanks for your assistance with my feeble attempt at an s40 modification.  I should have just had you do a few for me in the first place.  Your service was fast, priced right, and very much appreciated.  Now I just need to start drilling some holes for the lenses."
George Carlsty - IA - 3/3/18

"Thanks again for all of your hard work, I thought for sure what we sent you would amount to a box full of junk and somehow, once again you converted them into a fleet of fine working trailcameras.  I promise we will take much better care of these this time around.  We really do appreciate your continued support."
Sammy Jacboson - OH - 2/28/18

"Joe, I don't know what to say??  I was one of your first customers, even when you were proto-typing your cameras and your level of commitment to my needs hasn't wavered one bit in almost 10 years.  Speaking to you yesterday reminded me that there are still genuine, customer-oriented, business owners out there.  It was interesting to hear your perspective on both the commercial camera industry and the homebrew community and a quick look at some of the community websites and I can easily see what you mean; traffic is WAY down.  I also found your perspective on your own cameras both interesting and inspiring.  The time you take to educate your potential and/or returning clients may indeed cost you a sale, but it has never been about how many cams you sell, as much as it as been about how satisfied the customers are.  Anyway, can't wait for my new cams, I did get the shipping confirmation and they should be here on Saturday.  They'll give me something to tinker with on Fathers Day."
Bill Lawson - MO - 6/13/17

"Thank you for your time and your guidance.  I did pick up two Browning FHD units at the Gander Mountain sale and they are performing exactly as you had described they would.  I am pleased, especially at this price point I was able to secure them.  It was nice to speak with someone who was more focused on my needs than on selling me what you have to sell.  You are certainly a wealth of knowledge when it comes to trail cameras and I will be getting a Ringer-Cam soon.  I'm interested in seeing the difference."
Jake Littles - NC - 67/17

"I just wanted to say thank you...my cameras have been operating flawlessly since I purchased them in March of 2014 and when one was a bit quirky this spring, you offered to give it a once over and had it back to me in 10-days for only the cost of shipping.  Can't find customer service OR products like these anywhere else, thanks Joe."
James Smythe - IL - 5/31/17

"Joe thank you very much for helping with the anniversary gift for my husband.  I really appreciate the time you took to answer  what I am certain were some dumb questions.  He was very happy to get the new trail camera and even more excited that I took the time to work with you and add another RingerCam to his fleet."
April McCoy - IA - 3/5/17

"My son and I finally got around to completing our two FS7 kits and I wanted to say thanks!  Spending the time with my son on something like this was great.  I get the feeling he enjoyed it as much as I did.  There is something really cool about building something like a trail camera and having it produce the results that are this dramatic. It is hard to believe a trail camera can capture magazine quality images.  Thanks Joe."
Stanley Bell - AR - 2/27-17

"Thank you so much for your prompt response and service.  I am glad I didn't ruin these cameras as they are by favorite the favorite of our group.  No way any commercial company would give a fleet of 10 trail cameras that are 4 years old a good "once-over", just because.....I am glad the few tweaks that were needed were no big deal.  The $110 you charged us to have these all evaluated, repaired and returned was a fraction of what we expected, but I guess it does work out for you in the end as we ordered two more with the cash we set aside for what we thought was going to be a more pricey service.  Thanks again Joe!!'
Steve Trance and the "Buckeye Bruisers HC" - OH - 2/16/17

"Joe, thanks for the prompt support and service, can’t believe I forgot to take the batteries out of my cams last year before I packed them away.  I got them back 15-days after I sent them to you and all three are working just as good as they did when I first bought them in 2013 – don’t know any of my buddies who can say the same about their various commercial cameras."
Ralph Bragg – MI – 9/6/16

"I just wanted to let everyone know that not only is Joe and his team a bunch of stand-up folks, they really do care more about making sure the customer is happy than a bottom line.  You see I got an s600 RingerCam as a gift from my brother.  I didn’t know at the time that is was purchased second hand, maybe even third hand, but it was new to me and it worked fine.  When he gave it to me he told me it was a RingerCam and pointed me to Joe’s website.  Long story short, the cam crapped out about 3 weeks later and I reached out to Joe.  He quickly offered to look it over give me his thoughts.  He reached out to me the same day it arrived at his shop with some very interesting news: he did not build the unit and it was not a RingerCam.  We both kind of laughed a bit about that, but the bottom-line he repaired the unit and had it back in my hands within 10-days of the day I sent it….oh yeah, he charged me $25.  Needless to say, I ordered a second unit that arrived just yesterday which prompted me to share my experience.  The first repaired camera has been working flawlessly since its return and I expect nothing less than the same for this second unit.  I also have the confidence knowing if something does go south, Joe and his team are there to support their products."
Tracy Laurent – IL – 9/2/16

"Hey Joe, I just wanted to say thanks for making my special day, even better.  The 6 groomsmen all loved their gifts and they actually turned out to be a hit at the reception as well.  You see, unbeknownst to me they stopped off between the wedding and reception and picked up a bunch of batteries and proceeded to strategically stash their RingerCams throughout the reception hall.  Let’s just say I won’t be sharing some of those photos (lol).  I really appreciate you working with me on such short notice and the cameras really are nothing short of amazing.  I am confident you will see a few more orders filter in from this crowd as many of my other buddies were asking; “where’d you get those cameras?”"
Jorge Thurngester – NC – 8/29/16

"I believe I am on my 6th season with one of Joe's P32 builds. After going thru 4 commercial brand cameras in two seasons and hours of time on the phone with crappy customer service, I about gave up on running a trail camera. Until I found Ringer Cams. This camera is the best I have owned and has only needed service once. Luckily, Joe's customer service is second to none, and he treats you like a friend. Thanks Joe! hopefully I can add another Ringer Cam soon!
Matt Musto - PA - 7/20/16

"We have found our new trailcamera supplier.  I am the president of a large lease in SC/SE OH with 50 members.  A portion of dues each year are set aside for cameras, stands, plots, etc....At the annual meeting in December I was unable to convince the group to invest in RingerCams, so I bought three on my own and ran them on the lease from Jan-mid-March.  At are March 19th meeting I shared some of the pictures those cams had captured and by March 21, Joe had an order for 5 more units.  All 5 cameras arrived on Monday April 11 and were on a tree that same day.  First camera pull was last night as we wanted to check performance before a longer soak in the field and every unit had performed up to our standards (which we think are pretty high).  Thanks again Joe for fast, reliable service and support, as well as, the production of quality cameras.  As an added bonus Joe sent along two of his custom turkey calls.  The first was a 3.25" Purpleheart Pot, crystal over slate with a Tulipwood striker and the second a 3.5" Canarywood Pot, slate over glass with a Bolivian Rosewood striker.  WOW, these things look and sound amazing.  They play edge-to edge with ease.  Can't wait to put one of them to the test.  I did say he sent them along without cost didn't I.....THANKS! Joe."
Zachary Grandeur - OH - 4/18/16

"My two s600 units arrived last week and I really cannot believe you can get this type of performance from a trail camera.  I spent less on both units that I did on one of my commercial units and these things blow that commercial unit out of the water.  I plan on returning that unit shortly and ordering tow more from Joe. He is very knowledgeable about his craft, patient with answering which were no doubt questions he has revived 100s of times, and thorough with his communication and follow-up support.  Thanks for turning me on to a whole new world of outdoor enjoyment.
Alex Brine - IA - 4/16/16

"I don;t know what more I can say about Joe and his work other than he truly is a one of a kind man.  Way back in 2014 I picked up 2 homebrew trailcams from the classified section of an online forum.  As soon as they arrived I thought I was in over my head and I couldn't get the seller to respond to any of my questions.  I reached out to Joe, he turned those two into well-oiled machines which have been working ever since.  Fast forward to last month, the same two cams start acting up again, i reach out to Joe and he tells me to send them over.  Well, 7 days after he revived them and $40 later, I have them both back in possession and working as well as they did 2-years ago when I first purchased.  Since my first foray into the homebrew world I have added 5 additional RingerCams to my fleet and with a lot of help of Joe I built my own last month.  Joe really is dedicated to craft his craft and knows how to treat people right.  I hope this entry convinces you not to hesitate working with Joe."
Andrew Schertz – IN - 4/10/16

"I just wanted to let everyone know that Joe really hooked me up, you see I took over the Presidency of our club/lease this year and I was tasked with cataloging our current fleet of trail cameras and determining our needs for the upcoming season in this regard.  We had several Homebrew trail cameras from a builder who we could no longer reach.  I heard about Joe from Archery Talk and reached out via his site.  We spoke for about 40-minutes and I sent him a package containing 11 trail cameras.  It took him about 3.5 weeks and cost us $725 and we received 8 working trail cameras and some of those cams were in downright bad looking condition.  I thought he did a stand-up thing for our club working on /repairing cameras that he didn't even build.  Sure we paid him for his service, but it worked out to be around $90 per cam, not going to find that deal anywhere else, couple that with the fact that this fleet takes magazine quality photos and we were really pleased."
Steve Jeffs - OBCHC - NC - 2/18/16

"Thanks Joe, kit arrived last week and it was as easy to assemble as you said it would be...my son and I enjoyed the experience.  I am not quite sure we are ready to undertake our own from start to finish, but we are a little closer.  We ordered all of the parts and are awaiting their arrival.  I am hoping they show up at the same time as the fast-hacked s600 you are sending.  Thanks again for giving me something to work on in the off-season."
Jake Stule - AK - 2/16/16

"Merry Christmas to me....little did I know my wife was up to her old tricks snooping through my emails...thankfully I am and was a good-boy, but she found some emails back and forth between Joe and I about getting a few RingerCams after the new year.  Low and behold Christmas morning two brand new Panasonic Fs7 units were waiting for me under the tree.  Joe even through in a few extras for the Holiday.  What amazes me most is that my wife told be she didn't reach out to Joe until 12/10 and yet both cams were built, tested, and delivered in time for me to have them under the tree.  I guess I should also share that my wife raved about how nice Joe was to her as she tried to figure out exactly what to get.  Thanks Joe, can't wait to put these to work....I have been testing one on the bird feeder out back and it is amazing."
John Fuller - NE - 12/28/15

"Hard to believe anyone that does business the way Joe does can stay in business???  You see I worked with him for two months on a camera, I really wanted to get it done myself.  I think I sent it back and forth to him at least 4x for his assistance and the only thing he ever asked me to cover was his return shipping to me?  All told, I have my first ever Homebrew trail camera complete a Sony W200 unit with BF trailmaster board.  It is packed in a Pelican 1060 with externals.  I don't feel right saying I built it myself, because there is no way I would have ever completed it without Joe's support."
Steve Barr - OK - 12/22/15

"Just wanted to send a quick thanks to Joe and any who helps support him at the 12-ring.  He donated two trail cameras to our 9/11 remembrance rally and silent auction at our club.  Funny thing too, we contacted several very large to small/local businesses (like Joe's) and you just might be surprised by the folks who chose to donate to our rally and those who did not.  Let's just say this, those who could easily have afforded to grab a few items off of their assembly lines were the first to have some legal jargon offered as response, seeking tax id/exemption numbers, etc...in their denial to donate.  Regardless, the two RingerCams, along with the slideshow video that Joe sent certainly drew more attention than I thought a trailcam would muster.  I do think the fact they were two complete set-ups, including memory cards, batteries, battery charger, and cable locks helped inspire some discriminant bidders.  All proceeds are being used to support first responders and veterans in area participate in a variety of outdoor oriented activities, from hunting and fishing to orienteering and camping.  The dinner and auction were a big success thanks in big part to people like Joe and his team at the 12-Ring,  If you are considering a trailcamera, consider a RingerCam as Joe keeps his priorities straight."
Samantha Libbino - WI - 9/12/15

"WOW!!! Pretty darn amazing - $315 and I have a brand new fleet of 8 RingerCams.  You see I was one of Joe's very first customers, before the .com ever really kicked off.  Over the years I'd experience an issue or two here or there; sometimes I'd get them looked at, others I'd just replace.  When I opened p my tote this year about a month ago I had 8 cams acting up and I thought let me just reach out to Joe and see what, if anything, could be done.  Surprisingly, he told me to box them up and send them over.  I was surprised 3 of them were 8 years old and probably hadn't worked for the last two years, but I had simply cast them aside.  About a week after he received them he reached out with a list of repairs needed and the total cost of $315, which included the return shipping.  I was more than satisfied with his diagnosis and proposal, but was blown away when they arrived.  Not only did each look brand spanking new, they performed as if were....I am not really sure what I was expecting, but I can tell you this....what I received exceeded that unknown.  Basically, I feel as though my 2015 season is starting off with 8-brand new cams that I paid less than $40 a piece for....sure there will be a few who think I may be out of my mind, but at 64 years old I can tell you I have NEVER owned a commercial trail camera for more than a year that the manufacturer would repair/replace when they go bad; and they do go bad.  Thanks again Joe and keep up the good work."
Eric Young - OH - 9/2/15

"It was nice meeting you and I appreciate you taking the time to drive to Lancaster.  I know you were going to visit Lancaster Archery anyway, but I really do appreciate you spending some time with me.  My fleet of cams are back to working flawlessly and the quick hands-on troubleshooting lesson is sure to help ME keep them that way.  I really appreciate you looking over my first build too, I can't believe the problem was as stupidly-simple as it was....thanks again Joe."
Greg Davies - PA - 8/31/15

"Thanks a ton Joe, our new fleet of s600 cams are great.  Who would have guessed we could get magazine quality photos from a trailcam and at a price comparative to an off-the-shelf cam that barely works.  You've found some new customers for life with our group."
Jesse Fowler - IN - 8/27/15

"We wanted to thank you for the donation to our silent auction.  The w200 trail camera was a hit and the money raised went to a great cause.  I did pass out your cards as several were asking where a camera like that came from; hopefully it results in some contacts for you.  Thanks again!"
Gloria Smith - PA - 5/28/15

"Joe, thank you very much for your support, I know my project could not have been easy to repair and once again you did an outstanding job with someone else’s mess.  My w200 unit is churning out magazine quality photos once again!  Thanks!"
Jeff Barilio – NC - 4/28/15

"Thanks for the spring tune-up, the fleet has been deployed and I suspect some fawn and new growth pics soon. "
Joe Riely – WI - 4/12/15

"Sorry it took this long to provide some feedback on the site, things got away from me a bit.  The A503 unit is simply amazing; thank you so much for the recommendation.  Running that IR unit along with the two FS7 units has allowed me to effectively cover my area.  I can’t wait for the IRW200 to arrive.  If it is anything like the 503 I know I will be very satisfied.  Thanks again for being an honest guy and not selling me what you have, but what I needed (or at least thought I needed – lol)."
Steve Jackson - IL
- 4/6/15

"Joe thanks for the great advice and your assistance.  I thought I was going to have to scrap my old PixControlled P41, but thanks to your help, it is up and running again like a CHAMP.  This trailcamera is 11 years old!!!  I bet not many other folks can say that about a trailcamera.  Thanks again and when I do decide to add to my fleet it will certainly be a RingerCam."
David Delomens - ID - 3/6/15

"Thanks for bailing me out AGAIN!!  I am done shopping the classifieds for Homebrews, the few dollars that I thought I could save by going that route, get gobbled up having to get the units repaired.  Thanks for always treating me right, the w230 is a picture taking machine now....."
Mike Friel – MD - 2/24/15

"Awesome cameras, the two FS7 that you built for me are simply awesome!!  Thanks Joe!"
Josh Delsome - MD - 2/18/15

"Joe, thank you very much for taking the time to share with me all of the information about your cameras.  I wanted to be sure I got my husband something nice and you helped with that tremendously.  He really enjoys his new camera and we have spent countless hours reviewing amazing photos each week.  It was a wonderful Christmas gift and I really owe that to you."
Sandy Little - IL - 2/13/15

"Thanks Joe, these two trail cameras are everything you said and more. I really appreciate the time you spent with me and the quality of your workmanship. Sorry I didn't post sooner, but things have been crazy since Christmans, Both units arrived on time for the big day and were on a tree the very next. I checked them for the first time last week and WOW, i was amazed!!!"
Stan Hills - IA - 1/11/15

"I am very glad that I reached out to Joe and his team at the 12-Ring.  Like many others I was frustrated with my commercial cams and looking for an upgrade, but not willing strap a week's pay to a tree and hope it doesn't get destroyed or stolen.  I reached out to Joe through the website, he contacted me within 24-hours and we began to plan.  He offered his number and during a conversation I learned that I actually owned 4 cameras that could be converted into trail cameras, two Pentax E90's, a Sony W55, and a Samsung 503.  To my surprise, Joe told me to send them over and he would inspect them to be sure they would operate properly.  A week later he reached out indicating the cameras were all good enough to be used in a trail camera, we worked out a price and about 3-weeks later 4 new trail cameras arrived on my doorstep, just in time for Christmas.  I wanted to wait a bit before I left feedback, because I will admit was a bit intimidated at first by the settings and switches as I was accustomed to simply changing the card and batteries and that was it...these take a little getting used to, but they perform FLAWLESSLY!!!! In fact, my winter 3d league has started and my trail camera photos are the topic of discussion every Thursday night when we meet.  The guys cannot believe the photos that I am sharing are from trail cameras.  Best of all I got four cams for less than the price of one of the higher end commercial cameras that I was considering.  I can cover 4x the amount of territory and am not so anxious about loosing a weeks pay in one swipe if a bear or a thief happens by the cam site.  I wanted to send a sincere thanks to Joe for taking the time to work with me and finding a way to meet all of my needs in the field and in my wallet."
Logan Zeilick - WI - 1/7/15

"Thanks again for taking the time to walk me through this problem with my W200.  I am very glad it was user error and not unit malfunction as I have been very pleased with this set-up.  I cannot wait for my Panasonic to arrive, it will be nice to compare the two.  I checked the USPS tracking and it should be here today and I am sure I'll be in touch when I screw something up, the learning curve is unique, but the results are very much worth the effort."
Sean Potts - IA - 9/6/14

"Joe I am so sorry it has taken us this long to get something on your testimonial page, but as we you know we think your cameras are the absolute best on the market.  The service you have provided to the members of our club is second to none - the two P41 units that you donated to our annual Labor Day rally caused a bidding war during the silent auction and we very much appreciate it.  I've personally lost count now somewhere around 30 and I can't wait for our two new DSLR units to arrive.  Thanks again for deciding to share your passion and skills with complete strangers, we never knew what we were missing with the commercial cameras and you really have helped many of us Keep Our Eyes on the Prize".
Larry Stedman - IL - 9/3/14

"I absolutely love my P32 RingerCam. This thing takes amazing pics and the quality is top notch. If you are in the business of purchasing a new game cam highly recommend a homebrew RingerCam from Joe. He will steer you in the right direction from beginning to end on your build. Thanks again!
Ed Buckley - WV - 8/7/14

"Sorry it took so long to drop some feedback, but I spend all of my cpu time now organizing my photos, I forgot to leave feedback and post some pictures. These cameras are amazing, I am very glad I chose to work with Joe and his team, especially after the first 5-days the camera was out a bear just about destroyed the unit (or so I thought). I was hesitant to reach out to Joe as I didn't want to be one of THOSE guys, you know the type who thinks a manufacturer is responsible for everything that happens to a product, even after it is sold and used. Man, am I glad I did - $60 and a week later I had a totally refurbished unit back in my hands. As I understand it, I needed new glass, detection lens, seal, power switch, wiring, and 3d camoflague. The $60 covered the shipping too. I really thought I had flushed the original purchase price  down the crapper - I cannot imagine any commercial company would have done the same. At this point I have 3 P41 units , an s600 unit, and an FS7 unit to go along with a mismatched set of commercial cameras. The commercial cameras are going in the yard sale next weekend and I will probably add one or two more RingerCams to the fleet. Looks like I have found my new supplier and if you give a RingerCam a try, you probably will too...."
Larry Brett - MO - 7/8/14

"Thanks for the quick turn-around and constant updates.  Sure glad I chose to work with you, your camreas are amazing and your service top notch."
Harold James - NE - 6/22/14

"WOW!!!! - who knew so much performance could be packed into a unit that fits in my cargo pocket - THANKS JOE!!!!! - Joe built me a P41 unit in a Pelican 1010 case and this thing is simply amazing. I waited about a month before leaving this feedback as I wanted to be sure it wasn't just my initial enthusiasm that comes through in the testimonial. This unit has performed flawlessly in every application that I have attempted; whether it was on the back deck in front of my wife's hummingbird feeder, on the pond chasing the heron, or strapped to tree on the major creek crossing, this pocket-sized powerhouse produced amazing photos. I ran it on the very same tree as one of my commercial cams and not only was the quality not even close, but the P41 unit had 47 more pictures than the commercial unit and each of those 47 had a target animal in the frame. If I had only been running the commercial unit, I would have missed those 47 pictures. Joe took the time to address my needs and his advice was spot-on. He kept me abreast of the build process as it unfolded and was sure to put the unit "through the ringer" before he sent it to me. I am glad a decided to take a small risk and try something a little different with a RingerCam - I have found the new destination for all of my trail cam needs."
Jordan Taylor - OH - 6/17/14

"My twin s600 units arrived and they are getting a workout.  I am sure glad I went with D cell power supply inside the unit as these things are turning out over 250 pictures per day.  I think I am going to alter the settings a bit s I don't want to weat them out before the real giants start showing up on the farm.  Thanks for an great product and easy process, these won't be the only two RingerCams on our farm; that is a promise."
Steve Wright - MN - 6/11/14

"Man, I really don't know what to say other than THANKS!!!  For those reading, Joe restored three trail cameras that two others had told me were unable to be saved, just before they offered to sell me two of their units???  I almost bit, but I decided I would try one last ditch effort and man I am glad that I did.  Now I have 5 working trail cameras including a pair of IRP52 untis from Joe that are taking some amazing IR shots on the farm.  When I told him I was interested in buying one of his units, he didn't even charge me to restore the three that I sent - it was this practice that inspired me to get two and I am glad that I did.  Joe is an easy-going, great guy to work with and his products are worth every penny."
Chris Roulon - NC - 6/9/14

"If you start getting a bunch a calls from Dunwoody Georgia, must be from us…see couple of us headed to the first 3d shoot and the guys just about fell off their rockers.  They were amazed by the size and camo and I hung it on a tree next to the scoring table for the day and when we were done, I put the card in the scorer’s computer and the guys couldn’t believe the quality of the pictures it took.  I am not sure, but the 12-ring secret may be out here in GA.  You know how happy we have been with them on our lease. Good luck with the new site, it looks great."
Caleb Newstrome –GA - 5/11/14

"Thanks for coming through again, one of these days I’ll stop trying to fix things myself and just go right to you from the start.  Sometimes saving a few bucks by picking something up in the classified sections isn’t always saving a few bucks.  Thanks for always taking care of me, I certainly appreciate it. The two s600’s are running in overdrive right now."
Mike Friel – MD – 5/17/14

"I just wanted to take a moment and thank Joe for his honesty and patience. I bought two homebrewed trail cameras from the classified section of a major outdoor forum.  The seller seemed honest and knowledgeable and had good feedback on that forum.  I purchased the units, but when they arrived there were no directions and I really had no idea how to approach operating the camera.  I did reach out to the seller, who was less than enthused about answering what I feared were stupid questions, but I did get the cams up and running, that was for about one month and they both stopped working.  I reached out to the seller who said that the problems were out of his control. I posted on the open forum and several replies led me to Joe and the12-ring. I reached out to Joe and had a reply within 24-hours.  A few quick exchanges led to Joe and me speaking on the phone.  He walked me through what he could and then suggested I send him the cameras.  The first camera needed a few components replaced, but the second camera needed to be replaced altogether.  Joe charged a very modest fee and when my cameras were returned, not only did they have a fresh 3-dimentional camouflage treatment, there was a complete set of operating instructions for each unit, along with a laminated card that highlighted the recommended camera settings for the camera. I was so impressed with Joe’s honesty, patience, and professionalism that I ordered two more within a week. If you are looking for a quality trail camera built by a guy who cares more about keeping members of the 12-ring network happy than the bottom line, then I would highly recommend that you reach out to Joe.”
Andrew Schertz – IN – 5/5/14

"Thanks Joe, cams arrived last week and usual they are top notch.  We are going to donate one to our local Trout Unlimited Youth Day rally. It should be a great prize for a youngster who catches a tagged fish; puts us both in good graces with the local community.  Hopefully, it will turn some interest your way; you deserve it.  Thanks for meeting all of our club’s trail camera needs."
Jeffery Stayers – IL – 5/2/14

"Easter bunny arrived a day early for me, doorbell rang yesterday around 1:00 PM and there was the postman with a brown box with florescent orange FRAGILE stickers on it.  Now I know it wasn't an Italian special award, but couldn't have been happier that my w230 and FS7 units arrived only 11-days after I had placed the order with Joe.  These are my 12th and 13th RingerCams and I couldn't be happier with Joe's work.  We first connected in 2008 and the rest has been history.  He is an honest and fair man to work with and will do all that he can to be sure that you are satisfied.  If you are considering a homebrewed trail camera, Joe would be at the top of my list of recommended builders."
Rob Greastant - OH - 4/20/14

"Joe is a stand up guy and very thorough.  He gave "tuneups" to a couple of p41 builds that I had done years ago.  He also worked with some parts I had
accumulated and set me up with a couple of s600 builds. He kept me in the homebrew game.  Thanks Joe!!"
Todd Rick - WI - 4/17/14

“Thanks again for your honest assessment of situation.  I think you could have taken me for a long ride off of a short cliff as I had no idea what went wrong
with the cams that I had purchased and the original builder was of little to no help to me.  Your $85 charge brought three trail cameras back from the dead and I am very thankful for the time you spent on these cameras that you didn’t even build.  Top rate service, from a top rate guy”
Daryl Humel – WI - 4/13/14

“My camera arrived and I have to admit, it looked to be a bit more than I bargained for.  I wanted something that I could set and forget about it and I wasn’t really feeling like the 12-rigner camera was going to be that.  I reached out to Joe with an email, but he returned it with a telephone call.  He walked me through what to do, but also offered to replace it completely or refund the price. I decided to give the unit I had purchased a try -s40 faster hack- and man am I glad that I did.  I will admit it took a little bit to get used to it, but this baby is a picture taking machine…thanks Joe.”
Josh Mevlin – MI – 4/7/14

“Call me stupid, eager, too aggressive whatever you feel fits the bill, but I’ll call myself LUCKY because I chose to go with a ringercamera from the start.  To keep it short, I am always amazed at the duck photos that appear on the various sites.  I took too much of an aggressive approach on the edge of a pond and my camera ended up submerged for the better part of two weeks.  Surprisingly, NOTHING was damaged, when I say surprisingly, even Joe was surprised. I had reached out to tell him the camera was submerged, he gave me some tips to use as soon as I could get it to it, which wasn’t until roughly 8-days after I had called Joe.  When I finally was able to get my hands on it and opened it up, BONE DRY inside.  Joe said I was lucky, that he really thought being submerged for that long would have resulted in some problem and he was willing to look things over for me free of charge. There wasn’t a need to have him do that…THANKS JOE!”
 Chris Stone – WI - 4/3/14

“Joe is a one of kind type of guy.  I reached out to him about the possibilities of helping me finish a trail camera build that I had started last spring.  We talked a bit and I learned he was looking for a new bow for son.  Just so happens I have access to certain inventory and we finalized a swap.  I sent him my birds-nest of a year old project and he returned two complete trail cameras. In exchange I sent a brand new Infinity Edge his way for his boy.  Sure is to know there are some good guys around.”
 Frank Longley – KY 3/30/14

“Joe thank you very much for helping my husband  enjoy his retirement.  I will admit I knew nothing about trail cameras before speaking with you and while I am certainly no expert now, at least I understand enough about them to have reasonable conversations with my husband. You were right, the S4o was a perfect entry level camera and it has been contagious.  The two W200 models  arrived on 2/26/14 and Jeff loves them! Thanks again for all of you help and guidance it has been very much appreciated.”
Susan McKliene – WV - 2/28/14

"I've been using Joe's cameras for four years, including both IR and flash models.  I now have nine of his cameras that I run year round. On some cameras I get as many as 1,000 pictures a week during the year.  I can't say enough good things about his superior service and attention to detail.  I've put all of my
commercial cameras in the closet.  They cannot come close to matching the speed and picture quality of Joe's cameras.  And most importantly to me, Joe is always available to answer my questions.  You can't go wrong having Joe build you one or more cameras."
Bill Tuley - KS - 3/21/14

“My husband and I wanted to send our sincere thanks for your generous donation to Matt’s silent auction. As you know the funds raised are being used to off-set the costs of his treatments.  The trail camera that you sent was a big hit in more ways than one. Once the winner was determined and accepted the prize, he walked over and handed it to Matt as a gift.  It was truly a touching moment and would not have been possible if it weren’t for your generosity.  Thank you and God bless.”
 Rachel Shwartz – MD – 3/20/14

“Hey buddy, sorry it took this long for me to get over and check out the new site, I was too busy running all my RingerCams (lol)…..looks great and wish you continued success. Let me know how that flyrod is holding up, if it is doing ½ as well as the fs7 trail camera that we swapped for, you have been landing some lunkers.  Good to see you back online.”
Phil Dresspher  - NC – 3/18/14

“How many pictures, would a picture taker take, if a picture taker could take pictures?  Let me tell you, I have a P32 12-ringer camera that is 6 years old and has certainly taken more than 100,000 pictures.  I needed a small flash update in 2010 and wanted a power upgrade in 2012.  Both of those upgrades combined cost me less than $40, which included shipping.  It runs as well today as the day I bought it and I am not sure many commercial camera operators can make those claims. If you are interested in quality photos from a reliable device with service you can really count on when you need it, you have to give one of Joe’s cameras a try.  Just reach out, he’ll talk you through what you need and it won’t be what he wants to build either; which is very nice in today’s world.”
Carl Opaul – LA – 3/18/14

"I have been using the 12 Ringer Cams for a few years now.  I am very impressed with their reliability and quality.  The trail cameras are a great way to spend time in the outdoors doing pre-season to post-season scouting. It is also a good way to get pictures of predators (foxes, coyotes, etc.) that could be prowling around.  It is always fun to anticipate what you might find on the camera disk."
John Walters - PA - 3/15/14

“One of these days I’ll be able to get through a build without having to reach out for your help. Thanks again for the prompt call las tweek, I really appreciated it.  The new adapters arrived yesterday and were in the build before the end of the day.  The camera is running like a champ now thanks to your help and support.”
Joe Reynolds – ID - 3/13/14

“Thanks again for all of your help last fall, I am sorry about your accident, but at least I gave you some camera work to keep you busy (lol).  Cameras are  running great and we are looking to add a few more before summer; maybe some of those plot watcher units you shared.”
Derrick Stone – MD - 3/12/14

“The guys at the club are amazed at the size and performance of your Sniper camera. I locked them in my truck when the club shoot started as I was worried they might grow legs and disappear, they drew that much attention. Thanks for your honest approach and willingness to work with me; I hope the binos are treating you well.”
Jeff Tobar – IL - 3/11/14

“Wow! I'm currently up to 5 ringer cams and none of them miss a beat! They run 365 days a year for deer, turkey, ducks, predators, and pheasants! Joe's customer service is second to none!!! He bounces all ideas and recommendations off you before a final decision is made. His builds are affordable and well worth the money! I have an IR build from Joe going into its 6th full year in the field without a hitch!!! I currently have had 10 of pictures from my ringer cams published in popular magazines across the world and I've won 3 trail camera contests!!!! Thanks Joe!”
Devin Phenix – MI - 3/10/14

“Thanks for the great camera Joe, this little guy just about disappears in the woods.  It is hard to believe such great quality and performance can come in such a small package.”
Steve Pelter – IA - 3/10/14

“I heard you had a new site and I will say; looks nice. The cams I sent to my boys in IN were a hit on their lease. I spoke with Josh the other day and he said they already ordered 5 more.  You got my order yesterday for two w230-builds for my farm here in IL, so I know you are a busy man.  Thanks for taking such great care of us.”
 Rich Weaver – IL - 3/10/14

“Saw your shed hunting post on Archery Talk, how do you have time to put those miles in and still build these cameras. My P32 and S600 arrived on Saturday and man are they sweet.  I think that makes 7 now in total, though my son has commandeered two of them.  Wish you continued success with the12-ring.”
Jayson Stackey - FL - 3/10/14

“Glad to see you didn’t let a little adversity stop you, wouldn’t have expected anything less from a cam builder extraordinaire.  The two W290 builds are running as good today as they did they day they arrived in June of 2011. The images are truly amazing; in fact I won 2 prizes in our local clubs  trail camera contest this fall.  Nice to know you’re back on-line if I ever need anything.”
Jon Baker – WV - 3/9/14

“Boy oh boy, guesses they can’t keep a good man down – just kidding, glad to see the new site, looks great. The farm is holding its own and the Ringercams are holding a bit more.  The pictures really helped showcase what the farm has to offer last fall and I am almost certain a few clients made their decision to spend some time with me because of those photos, in fact I am pretty sure one of the hunters ordered a couple from you after seeing those AWESOME micro-builds.  I’ll be placing another order soon.”
Chase Martson – MT - 3/9/14

“Thanks for putting up with all of my stupid, non-stop questions.  I should have just gone with a builder for my first homebrew, it would be have been much less painful; literally.  Your support and guidance was much appreciated, my wife couldn’t believe you spent that much time with me and my daughter is now mad because I know how to use FaceTime.  I couldn’t have finished this build without your help.”
Thomas Joseph - OH - 3/9/14

"Nice digs Joe, glad to see you up and running on the www again. Very sorry to hear about Paul, I wonder what the other guys are going to do, especially Mark at Trophy Blend. Anyway, good luck and thanks, my two new FS7's arrived last week and are on predator patrol in front of a few suspected Yote dens."
Jasper Kling - IL -  3/8/14

"Hard to believe it has been 8-years since we first connected. That P32 is still running like a rock star too. Thanks for the update on the Plotwatcher it is a pretty amazing cam you put together, had no idea it had all of those features, but I am thankful."
Eric Young - OH -  3/8/14

"I wanted to let everyone know right now, if you are thinking about a homebrew trail camera, stop right now and just reach out to Joe. He will respond via email or call and work with you to help you get a RingerCam that meets all of your needs including your wallet. I am up to 6 right now and my brother just ordered two more last week. We are hoping to have are farm covered-up pretty good."
Larry Winderfeld - WI -  3/8/14

"Wow, the new site looks great Joe - I wish you a lot of luck with it. I was getting worried that our trail camera supplier had moved on to greener pastures. Thanks a bunch for everything you do and have done for us here in TN. To give visitors some idea of what kind of service you will get....a new fleet of 6 units arrived at our lease on a Thursday, They were all hung that weekend and if you would believe it, hogs trashed two of them. I personally called Joe and sent him the cams to look over. Six days and $45 dollars later we had two working units....doubt any commercial companies will offer that kind of service. We have over 30 RingerCams across our three main leases, not sure what we did before we had them. Thanks Again Joe!"
